this raises a few questions. you're attempting to connect to the internet. dialup? broadband? are you attaching your laptop directly to a cable modem? when you say wizard, do you mean a network wizard? could you bea little more specific?

Ok, sorry I was a little bit rushed for time.
I’m trying to connect to the inter net by broad band, don’t have a land phone. In the network connection it says the broad band is enable but when I try to bring up a web sight the page can not be displayed, I ran the inter net wizard and setup a internet connection but still nothing, a lot of files where removed by my girlfriend so reinstalled windows xp and reinstalled the drivers and devises but still nothing, even used the system recovery disk. I said about f10 meant f8 not sure what to do after this? Sorry for the haste on the last one, hope some one can help.

thank you zentar
